Young sprouts with salt
Balsamic vinaigrette is a nice change of pace from a lemon or citrus vinaigrette. Especially when you want a less acidic, slightly sweet dressing. Adjust the vinegar and oil to suit your tastes.

  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil (or canola oil)

  • In a small bowl combine the balsamic and red wine vinegars and salt. Slowly whisk in the oil. Adjust seasoning to taste.
